Detection and hunting both require clear visibility inside an environment. Once you see what is actually happening by looking at source data, you need the right tools to detect malicious activity. Using actual source data (full email content, actual network packets, etc.), the Morphick Defense Platform delivers signature, behavior, reputation, and analytics based detection engines in order to provide superior detection.
Why is this important? We know from experience that when attackers change their tactics to evade a certain detection mechanism, that they inadvertently expose themselves to other detection mechanisms. Bottom line – the more they hide from one detection mechanism, the more they stand out to another detection mechanism. Morphick’s proprietary approach to detection uses this interplay between the various detection engines to allow clients to detect whatever they want however they want.
Using the visibility and detection capabilities in the Morphick Defense Platform, Morphick can rapidly verify the existence or non-existence of anything in your environment. The platform is also flexible enough to allow defenders to change what they are looking for and how they are looking for it in real time. This gives the platform the flexibility to not just detect the advanced attacks, but to learn from these attacks and rapidly update itself to stay one step ahead of the attackers as they change their attacks.
